Lattice

Realtime planning boards that stay coherent offline.

A collaborative planning tool where every edit is a small, mergeable operation. Boards keep working on a train and reconcile quietly when the connection returns.

Role
Design & full-stack development
Type
Web application
Year
2025
Category
Product
Stack
  • TypeScript
  • React
  • WebSockets
  • PostgreSQL
  • CRDTs
  1. Problem

Teams lost edits whenever two people touched the same card.

  2. Approach

Operation-based sync with a server that only orders, never decides.

  3. Result

Conflict dialogs deleted from the product entirely.

Meridian

A logistics dashboard people actually leave open all day.

Fleet and shipment monitoring with dense, scannable tables and a map that never blocks the work. Built around keyboard-first triage.

Stack
  • Next.js
  • TypeScript
  • D3
  • Node
  • Redis
  1. Problem

Operators triaged alerts across four tools and a spreadsheet.

  2. Approach

One virtualised table, one command palette, zero modal dialogs.

  3. Result

Common actions reachable in two keystrokes.

PRJ—03 Creative 2024 Live

Halftone

A canvas experiment turning any image into living print dots.

A small rendering study: images are re-drawn as halftone dots that respond to the pointer. Runs at a steady frame rate on a phone.

Stack
  • Canvas 2D
  • WebGL
  • GLSL
  • Vite
  1. Problem

Most image effects fall over on mid-range phones.

  2. Approach

Instanced points in a single draw call, sampled from a small texture.

  3. Result

  4. A build-time asset pipeline in a single binary-sized CLI.

Fingerprints, compresses and inlines static assets, then writes a typed manifest so the app can never reference a file that does not exist.

  6. A Markdown editor that treats the keyboard as the interface.

Local-first notes with instant search and a vim-adjacent command layer. Documents are plain files; the app is just a very good window onto them.

02 — Profile

About

I build web products from the pixel to the query plan. I care about the parts nobody screenshots — latency, edge cases, and the empty state at 3 a.m.

  1. 01Interfaces

Fast, accessible front ends with real motion design behind them.

  2. 02Systems

APIs, data models and realtime layers that survive contact with users.

  3. 03Tools

Small, sharp developer tooling that removes a repeated annoyance.

  • daily driver: Vite Feedback loop under 100 ms.
  • daily driver: CSS Plain first. Layout is a solved problem now.
  • regular use: GSAP For timelines CSS should not have to carry.
  • regular use: Astro Content sites that ship almost no JS.
  • exploring: Svelte Interested in what a compiler can remove.
